Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team at Trinity Health. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care by applying the nursing process and incorporating the principles of relationship-based care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Care Planning: Conduct holistic patient assessments, considering physical, psychosocial, emotional, cultural, and spiritual factors, and utilize appropriate assessment skills for the designated patient population.
  • Critical Thinking and Intervention: Utilize critical thinking skills to analyze patient information, respond to patient situations, and implement effective interventions to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Care Coordination and Education: Develop, implement, evaluate, and revise individualized care plans based on evidence-based interventions and standards of care, actively involving patients and their families.
  • Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Collaborate effectively as a member of the interdisciplinary team to achieve patient outcomes, participate in interdisciplinary rounds, and contribute to quality and safety initiatives.
  • Leadership and Communication: Manage a team of healthcare professionals during designated shifts, prioritize tasks, delegate responsibilities appropriately, and demonstrate effective team member skills.
Requirements
  • Education and Licensure: Graduation from an accredited nursing program and a current Nursing License in the state of practice, along with active BLS certification.
  • Experience and Skills: Preferably hold a BSN degree, minimum of two (2) years of recent clinical experience in the relevant area of specialization, and strong interpersonal skills to establish and maintain collegial relationships with colleagues and therapeutic relationships with patients and families.
Physical and Mental Requirements
  • Physical Demands: Ability to continuously walk and stand for at least 90% of the time, capability to move, lift, and position patients.
  • Mental Demands: Effective organization and adaptability in setting and rearranging work priorities to accommodate frequent changes in tasks and projects within a potentially stressful environment.
