Logistics Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Logistics Specialist to join our team at US Foods, Inc. This role involves delivering essential food products to customers in a timely and safe manner while providing exceptional customer service.

$33.34 per hour, with opportunities for overtime compensation.

This role requires the delivery of best-in-class customer service, ensuring that customers receive their orders on schedule and maintaining high productivity levels. The ideal candidate will be able to unload products using a hand truck and place them in the customer storage area, perform repeated manual heavy lifting up to 80 pounds, and make frequent stops during a work shift.

• Deliver products in inclement weather conditions.
• Verify delivery of items with customers.

The successful candidate will be able to maintain accurate records and reports, communicate effectively with customers and colleagues, and adapt to changing situations and priorities.

To be considered for this role, you must have a valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications. A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred, as well as a minimum of six months of commercial driving experience or three months of experience in the food and beverage delivery industry.

• Valid U.S. driver's license issued by the state of legal residence with proper endorsements if required.
• No more than two convictions in the past two-year period for traffic violations, no DUI convictions in the past three years, no driver's license suspensions in the past three years.
