Job SummaryWe're seeking a highly skilled Research Scientist to support our mission. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for performing scoping studies on critical technologies, submitting grants to support future work, and driving the development of our superpermeable pump technology.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct scoping studies on fusion deployment technologies and submit grants to support future work
- Support experimental, computational, and analytical work on superpermeable pump development
- Graduate degree in plasma physics or equivalent experience
- High degree of independence and drive to tackle challenging projects
- Strong understanding of fusion engineering systems and the fusion industry
- Proficient in data analysis and presentation
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience writing and submitting grants to DOE and other funding agencies
- Ability to handle operational tasks required for grant management
