Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our clinic team. As a LPN, you will provide high-quality patient care under the supervision of a physician or registered nurse, adhering to established standards and practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet the expectations of our OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
- Perform basic patient care duties, including vital sign collection, weighing patients, and collecting specimens, under the direction of the physician.
- Assist providers in examination and treatment of patients, and with procedures, while maintaining patient flow through the clinic.
- Answer phone calls, record messages, and assist providers with patient-related calls, scheduling tests, and pre-certification.
- Document patient information and assist providers with medication refills.
- Administer medications and immunizations according to provider orders.
- Clean and restock exam rooms, maintain equipment, and order supplies.
- Perform routine clerical duties, including chart location, filing, and form completion.
- Attend required meetings and training, and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- CERT
- LPN License in the state of employment or compact
- BLS
Work Type: Full Time
