We are seeking caregivers in various regions.
Home-Based Community Settings: Within the IHSS program, you will collaborate closely with our HCBS family to ensure the health and safety of those we serve in their family homes. Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) will assist individuals in achieving greater independence.
- Facilitate transportation and community support: outings, medical appointments, and shopping.
- Assist with daily living skills, including meal preparation and medication management.
- Guide individuals in achieving developmental goals related to community engagement, budgeting, nutrition, and vocational responsibilities.
- Support individuals with essential living skills such as personal hygiene and grooming.
- Help individuals manage and redirect challenging behaviors.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance at all times.
- Preferred: Six months of experience in human services.
- Valid driver's license in good standing.
- Access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
- Successful completion of background checks.
- Exhibit a reliable and responsible attitude.
- Demonstrate compassion and a commitment to quality service.
