Position Summary:
The Foodservice Chemical Solutions Consultant will report directly to the Divisional Director of Business Development. This full-time role is remote and focuses on fostering client relationships while achieving sales objectives.
The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in foodservice or restaurant equipment sales, particularly in warewashing and sanitation chemical sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales and Business Development:
Identify and engage potential clients within the foodservice industry, including restaurants, cafeterias, hotels, and catering services. Promote and sell our chemical solutions, emphasizing warewashing and sanitation, to meet or exceed established sales goals. - Client Relationship Management:
Establish and nurture strong relationships with existing clients, delivering outstanding customer service and support. Conduct regular visits to client facilities to assess needs, provide product demonstrations, and resolve any issues. - Product Knowledge and Training:
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of our chemical products, including their features and applications. Offer training and support to clients on the proper use and handling of our products, ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory standards. - Market Research and Analysis:
Conduct research to identify industry trends, competitive challenges, and growth opportunities. Gather insights from clients and industry stakeholders to guide product development and marketing strategies. - Sales Reporting and Analysis:
Keep accurate records of sales activities, including customer interactions and sales pipeline status. Analyze sales data to monitor performance against targets and identify areas for enhancement.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Chemistry, or a related field, or equivalent military or practical experience is required. A minimum of 2 years of experience in foodservice or restaurant equipment sales is preferred, with a strong emphasis on warewashing and sanitation chemical sales. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software is essential.
Competencies:
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong sales acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build rapport with clients. Knowledge of foodservice industry trends and regulations is crucial, along with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
