We are seeking a skilled and experienced Hemodialysis Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at the California Department of Corrections and Rehab-Richard J. Donovan Correctional Facility (RJD) located in San Diego, CA.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 per year, based on shift, site needs, and experience.

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and compassionate Hemodialysis Registered Nurse to join our team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Demonstrate applicable knowledge of policies and procedures related to the position
  • Demonstrate an ability to perform technical skills including patient treatment, water treatment facility and emergency procedures
  • Assist with and perform all procedures of safe operation, disinfection, and inventory control according to policy, manufacturer recommendation, and regulatory agency guidelines
  • Assume administrative duties under direction
  • Additional duties and specific projects as assigned
Qualifications

To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Must hold and maintain a current, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in CA
  • A valid CPR certification
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Hemodialysis Staff RN in a healthcare setting, with correctional healthcare experience preferred
