Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Renal Care Nurse Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing excellent patient care and education, while also collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities
  1. Patient Care: Provide direct patient care to patients undergoing hemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis, including assessing their physical and emotional needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and monitoring their progress.
  2. Education and Support: Educate patients and their families on self-care techniques, medication management, and other aspects of renal care, promoting independence and empowerment.
  3. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with our interdisciplinary team, including physicians, social workers, and dietitians, to coordinate patient care and make informed decisions.
  4. Documentation and Reporting: Accurately document patient information and treatment plans, as well as maintain up-to-date records of patient progress and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Certifications: RN license, BLS certification
  • Experience: 9 months of experience as a Registered Nurse, 6 months of experience in dialysis
  • Skillset: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Benefits

Fresenius Medical Care offers a competitive salary range of $34.50 - $58.00 per hour, depending on location and qualifications.
