Key Responsibilities:

  • Record financial transactions and classify entries in the general ledger.
  • Reconcile various financial statements, including bank and credit card accounts.
  • Ensure the maintenance of precise and comprehensive accounting records.
  • Support the month-end closing process, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Conduct monthly account analyses and reconciliations.
  • Investigate and analyze expense discrepancies for management review.
  • Contribute to the annual audit by preparing draft financial statements and accompanying notes.
  • Assist in the development, modification, documentation, and execution of accounting control procedures.
  • Collaborate with various departments and engage with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent professional experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience, particularly in monthly closing activities.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for detail; capable of managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
  • Strong analytical abilities complemented by critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced spreadsheet capabilities.
  • Familiarity with accounting software; experience with Sage Intacct is advantageous.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Capacity to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while adhering to tight deadlines.
