AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE MANAGER

Our dynamic and busy service department is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Manager to lead our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business growth, improving customer satisfaction, and ensuring the highest level of service delivery.

Responsibilities:
  • Hire, train, manage, and retain a high-performing service team, including advisors and technicians.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention.
  • Meet department financial objectives by estimating requirements, preparing annual sales and service budgets, and analyzing variances.
  • Manage and maintain factory standards for warranty claims, ensuring timely and efficient resolution.
  • Establish and maintain a customer follow-up system to encourage repeat and referral business.
  • Develop and implement training programs to ensure compliance with manufacturer requirements and industry best practices.
  • Manage shop productivity, labor hours, cost of sale, and operating expenses to ensure a profitable department.
Qualifications:
  • 4 years of management experience in a GM automotive dealership.
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
  • Successful experience in automotive retail management.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Valid and clean driver's license.
  • Ability to work extended hours and Saturdays when necessary.
  • Strong focus on providing excellent customer service.
