Key Responsibilities- Administer physical therapy treatments and active, passive, restorative, and resistive therapeutic treatment to patients in a correctional facility.
- Work under the clinical direction of the Chief Medical Executive and the direct administrative supervision of the Chief Support Executive or Correctional Health Services Administrator I/II, Correctional Facility.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine the level of care required by each patient.
- Provide education and training to patients and their families on proper care and treatment techniques.
- Document patient progress and treatment plans in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
- Possession of the legal requirements for the practice of physical therapy in California as determined by the California Medical Board.
- Current valid license as a Physical Therapist in California.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
This position requires travel and working in a correctional facility environment. The monthly salary range for this position is $3,814.40 to $4,814.40.
