Job Title: Therapist Leader

Protouch Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Therapist Leader to join our team. As a Therapist Leader, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive evaluations, treatment plans, and treatment to adolescents and their families who have been referred by the Department of Children and Families (DCF) for issues related to intimate partner violence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that may include psychotherapy and clinically required support services, such as translation, transportation, advocacy, and linkage to other needed services.
  • Provide community-based outreach and treatment services as defined by the treatment plan and/or client need, in a variety of settings, including agency offices, client homes, schools, shelters, and police stations.
  • Lead weekly clinical team meetings and maintain contact and provide follow-up with families requiring this service.
Requirements:
  • Graduate degree in human services or a related field and at least 2 years of experience working with children and families exposed to IPV.
  • Ability to work with diverse individuals and exercise discretion and maintain client and employee confidentiality.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with a valid CT driver's license, reliable transportation, and valid auto insurance.
  • Familiarity with Word, email, and Internet, with a valid CT License in Clinical field issued by the DPH.
Working Conditions:

The Therapist Leader will work in an office environment, the community, and client homes, requiring extensive travel to client homes and throughout the community. The position involves exposure to tobacco smoke, domestic animals, household pests, and other conditions common to domestic environments.
