About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Advisor to join our team at H&R Block. As a Tax Advisor, you will be responsible for providing tax preparation, tax audit support, and tax planning services to our clients year-round.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their tax and business needs.
  • Provide expert tax advice and guidance to clients, including tax planning and audit support.
  • Conduct tax interviews with clients, both in-person and virtually, using video conferencing and chat tools.
  • Identify opportunities to grow business and increase client retention through the sale of additional products and services.
  • Stay up-to-date with tax laws and regulations, and maintain expertise in tax planning and audit support.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of tax experience, with a focus on individual tax returns and tax planning.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, both in-person and virtually.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, supportive environment.
  • Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment 1 or equivalent.
  • Must complete continuing education requirements and meet all other IRS and applicable state requirements.
