Position Overview

Adolescent Support Specialist

Are you dedicated to fostering positive growth in young individuals? At Anderson Behavioral Health, we are committed to offering essential emotional guidance to adolescents facing challenges. As an Adolescent Support Specialist, your role will be pivotal in establishing a nurturing and stimulating atmosphere for vulnerable youth.

Your responsibilities will include supervising group interactions, motivating daily activities, and collaborating closely with the Treatment Team to craft personalized care strategies that prioritize the welfare of our clients.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and support at-risk adolescents.
  • Deliver emotional assistance and promote healthy coping strategies.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to formulate tailored care plans.
  • Lead group discussions and recreational activities.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with prior experience in child care being advantageous.

Additional Criteria:

Candidates must be at least 21 years old, possess a valid driver's license, and successfully complete a background screening.
