Job Title: Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at Cardiology Consultants of Philadelphia. As a Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing transthoracic echocardiograms and stress echoes under the supervision of physicians and clinical supervisors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform transthoracic echocardiograms and stress echoes
  • Maintain echo lab protocols and meet accreditation standards
  • Effectively operate machinery and prepare preliminary echo updates in EMR
  • Notify physicians of new significant abnormal findings
  • Perform daily, monthly, and annual care and maintenance of ultrasound equipment
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and report malfunctions to the Lead Echo Tech or Philips Service
  • Ensure open communication with other CCP staff
  • Respect patients' right to privacy and confidentiality
Requirements:
  • Registered/Certified Echo Technician
  • At least 3 years of experience
  • Ability to multitask
  • Computer knowledge
  • Experience with EMR systems a plus
