We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Community Engagement Family Coordinator, focusing on community outreach to help us fulfill our vision of empowering individuals and families towards wholeness. Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Community Engagement Family Coordinator, your primary duties will include:
- Delivering presentations to community and faith-based organizations to highlight the importance of foster and adoptive parenting.
- Facilitating focus groups and Q&A sessions aimed at recruiting foster families for Circle of Care.
- Conducting thorough home studies on prospective foster homes promptly and in line with program guidelines.
- Maintaining detailed case notes for each family regarding their goals and progress.
- Ensuring all case management tasks are completed in accordance with program protocols.
- Keeping accurate records on both foster homes and the children placed within them.
- Acting as a liaison between foster homes and the Department of Human Services (DHS).
- Providing ongoing support to foster families while ensuring compliance with licensing requirements and child welfare policies.
- Assisting in various aspects of program development and operations as needed.
- Traveling regionally and statewide using a personal vehicle.
- Performing additional duties as assigned.

- Proficiency in standard office equipment and software, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- The physical ability to lift objects up to 20 pounds and navigate stairs.
- A genuine desire to work in a social service environment.
- A commitment to the mission and vision of Circle of Care.
To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Hold a Bachelor's Degree or higher in a social service-related field (preferred).
- Have a minimum of two years of experience in a social service setting.
- Pass a comprehensive background check, including fingerprinting and a Department of Transportation check.
- Possess a valid driver's license and maintain a good driving record.
