Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Lead Corporate Accountant to join our client's dynamic accounting team within a rapidly expanding SaaS technology firm. This role will serve as a key support to the Controller, overseeing essential functions such as general ledger accounting, month-end closures, account reconciliations, profit and loss analysis, and audit preparation. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively engage with diverse teams and management levels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute and manage monthly and quarterly closing activities, including journal entries and various reconciliations.
  • Oversee and facilitate the fiscal month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Collaborate with external auditors during the year-end audit, preparing necessary schedules and documentation.
  • Assist in the creation of financial statements.
  • Support the monthly consolidation process, including the posting of intercompany transactions and reconciliation of balances.
  • Contribute to the implementation and enhancement of financial systems, including training initiatives.
  • Provide accounting expertise for mergers and acquisitions.
  • Work in partnership with cross-functional teams and finance leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related discipline.
  • 5-7 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Familiarity with GAAP/IFRS standards.
  • Experience with NetSuite ERP accounting system is essential.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules as needed.
  • Capability to work independently while managing time efficiently.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
