Job Title: Electrical Engineer

At NOV, Inc., we are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing electronic interface circuitry applications for control of products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop electrical, schematic, interconnect, cabling, and assembly drawings.
  • Ensure equipment scope and content is defined during initial design processes.
  • Develop applications of controls, instruments, and systems for new commercial, domestic, and industrial uses.
  • Direct activities to ensure that manufacturing construction, installation, and operational testing conform to functional specifications and customer requirements.
  • Coordinate design projects to assure maximum utilization of engineering expertise.
  • Establish design criteria for projects using required codes and standards.
  • Review contractual content to ensure technical and regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure subsequent design changes are documented and transmitted as required to internal and external resources.
  • Support repair and maintenance of the tool fleet with the repair and maintenance team.
Requirements:
  • B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • General knowledge of Altium Designer.
  • Knowledge of analog and digital electronics components and design.
  • Knowledge of circuit and system design.
  • General knowledge of engineering concepts.
  • 5-7 years previous electrical engineering experience.
  • Downhole Drilling or Completions tools experience is a plus.
  • Ability to perform data analysis using MatLab is a plus.
