Position Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated 2nd Shift Group Leader to oversee our HNI Workplace Furnishings operations. This role offers competitive compensation starting between $70,000 and $80,000, along with a $5,200 annual shift differential and performance bonuses.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire team members to enhance factory performance in quality, productivity, and efficiency while ensuring a safe and positive work environment.
- Collaborate with various support teams to manage capacity, including material flow, workspace layout, and equipment readiness.
- Ensure equitable distribution of labor in accordance with the hourly job structure.
- Evaluate team performance annually, providing feedback and recommending merit increases.
- Identify and address performance issues through coaching and corrective actions.
- Engage in Continuous Improvement initiatives, encouraging team participation in relevant projects and focus groups.
Team Structure: You will manage a team of production members across one or multiple departments, including oversight of Team Leaders.
Work Environment: The operations environment may experience significant variations in temperature, humidity, noise, and dust. Safety gear may be required based on the specific work area.
Travel Requirements: Limited travel is expected, typically less than 20%.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Organizational/Business Management, or a related field is preferred.
- 1-3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing, distribution, retail, or customer service environment is strongly preferred.
- In the absence of sufficient relevant experience, a Bachelor's degree with an internship is required.
