Western Technologies is a consulting firm delivering professional solutions across the western United States in the domains of construction materials engineering and testing, non-destructive testing, and welding evaluation.
We currently have a full-time opening for a seasoned Construction Quality Control Inspector with a background in Project Management. The ideal candidate should possess experience in conducting construction assessments and inspections of soil, concrete, masonry, structural steel, and/or spray-applied fireproofing, along with project management capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting on-site evaluations and inspections to ensure adherence to local building regulations and project specifications
- Gathering samples for analysis
- Executing specific QA/QC tests on construction materials and building elements in accordance with ASTM, ACI, NAQTC, and other relevant standards
- Maintaining comprehensive records of observations, inspections, and test outcomes
Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge of standards related to the construction and inspection of reinforced concrete and masonry structures
- Ability to interpret and comprehend structural blueprints and current code requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in construction management or engineering is preferred but not mandatory
- Must possess a clean Motor Vehicle Record and successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening
- Capability to lift and transport 30 to 50+ pounds
