Position Overview:

The Janitor and Cleaner is responsible for maintaining cleanliness in various settings, including commercial and industrial facilities. Duties include:

  • Mopping, sweeping, and scrubbing/waxing floors
  • Vacuuming and shampooing carpets
  • Removing trash and refuse
  • Dusting and high dusting of fixtures and equipment
  • Cleaning restrooms and showers
  • Maintaining cleaning equipment and supplies

Physical requirements include the ability to stand or walk for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and climb stairs as necessary. Responsibilities may vary based on specific needs and requirements.

Qualifications:

Experience:

  • 4 years in Janitorial Services (Required)
  • 4 years as a Custodian (Required)
  • 1 year in Housekeeping (Preferred)
  • 5 years in Cleaning (Preferred)

Education:
