Building Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Building Maintenance Specialist to join our team at CBRE. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for performing complex preventive and corrective maintenance, repairs, and installations of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspections, repairs, and replacements of building systems and equipment.
- Operate, maintain, and monitor building equipment, including mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
- Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, and company directives related to building operations and work safety.
- Maintain the professional appearance of the property, equipment, engineering spaces, and common areas.
- Prepare estimates detailing the amount of time and materials needed for completing tasks.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and eight or more years of experience in electrical systems, refrigeration, and/or HVAC.
- Universal CFC certification required.
- Additional certification in one or more of the following: electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and refrigeration systems, process controls, mechanical power transmissions, painting, plumbing, carpentry, or engine repair.
Working Conditions:
This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent exposure to noise, dust, and other hazardous conditions. The successful candidate must be able to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy equipment and materials, and work at heights and in confined spaces.
