In this role, you will be tasked with accurately completing customs entry documentation within our advanced computerized system for our clientele. Key Responsibilities:

  • Input new customer orders into our DHL computerized system to facilitate cargo release.
  • Ensure all data is entered and/or uploaded accurately and promptly.
  • Execute document auto-upload as required into the DHL computerized system.
  • Collaborate with importers to gather any missing information via phone or email.
  • Maintain positive and professional relationships with customers, both internal and external.
  • Process medium complexity air/ocean shipments, necessitating a comprehensive understanding of SPI (Special Program Indicator) related to FTAs (Free Trade Agreements) and PGAs (Participating Government Agencies).
  • May undertake additional tasks as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED is required.
  • Proficient keyboarding and 10-key data processing skills are essential.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) is necessary.
  • Exceptional customer service abilities.
  • Strong communication skills are vital.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including days, evenings, nights, or weekends.
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience is preferred.
