Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at St. David's North Austin Medical Center. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and deliver respiratory care services to patients, including diagnostic tests and therapeutic procedures.
  • Monitor patients receiving invasive and noninvasive mechanical ventilation, and perform patient assessments to evaluate the need for and response to respiratory therapy.
  • Administer respiratory care therapies, including oxygen delivery, aerosol medication delivery, and chest physiotherapy.
  • Initiate, monitor, and maintain mechanical ventilation, and perform other related duties as required.
Requirements
  • RRT/Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT/RCP) certification or State Registered Respiratory Therapist licensure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
