Physical Therapist Specialist

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in Lynwood, California. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and promoting wellness in our community.
Job SummaryThis is a 12-month, 52-week position that starts in March 2025 and ends in February 2026. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality physical therapy services to patients with a range of conditions, including neurology, pediatrics, women's health, lymphedema, and vestibular conditions.
About the JobAs a Physical Therapist at Kaiser Permanente, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment where you can make a real difference in the lives of our patients. Your duties will include:
- Designing and implementing individualized treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient
- Evaluating patients to identify their strengths and weaknesses, and developing strategies to address any limitations or deficits
- Providing education and training to patients, families, and other healthcare professionals on various aspects of physical therapy
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation of patient progress and outcomes
In addition to your clinical responsibilities, you will also be expected to contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures, and participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field.
RequirementsTo be considered for this role, you must have a Graduate degree in Physical Therapy (BS, MS, DPT or PhD) from an approved school of Physical Therapy. You must also hold a current Physical Therapist License (California) and Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association. Additionally, you must be eligible to sit for the Physical Therapy exam and pass it within 90 days of hire.

The estimated salary for this role is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. This figure is based on industry standards and takes into account the location and requirements of the job.
