Medical Director Physician Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned Medical Director Physician to lead our mental health and drug detox services in a dynamic rehabilitation facility. This esteemed position offers an exceptional chance for a skilled professional to utilize their expertise, provide clinical guidance, and spearhead the growth of our center.
Key Responsibilities- Clinical Oversight: Monitor all mental health and drug detox services provided to adults, ensuring the highest standards of care.
- Leadership and Supervision: Directly supervise and consult with clinical staff, including psychiatrists, nurses, and psychiatric nurse practitioners, to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Operational Management: Oversee daily activities at the clinic, including scheduling, staffing, patient flow, maintenance, security, and fiscal management.
- Strategic Development: Identify opportunities for growth, develop relationships with local officials and community organizations, and foster partnerships for expanded services.
- Quality Improvement: Lead monthly meetings, implement quality initiatives, and drive continuous improvement.
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for setting annual program goals, motivating staff, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of psychotropic medications and best practices for treating adults with mental health issues.
To be successful, you must possess:
- NYS-licensed and Board-Certified Psychiatrist status
- Proven administrative and managerial experience
- Addiction Medicine BC or Psych Addiction BC certification
- Detailed knowledge of psychotropic medications and evidence-based treatment modalities
