Key Responsibilities:
Oversee, engage, and assist adolescent clients in a residential environment.

Accountable for medication supervision and education, tracking progress on the Master Treatment Plan, and facilitating personal care skill development, as well as age-appropriate group, leisure, and recreational activities.

Must effectively communicate and collaborate with families, the program psychiatrist, and other mental health professionals.

Qualifications:
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING 1. A Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, rehabilitation, or a related discipline. 2.

Candidates with an Associate's degree currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree and possessing additional experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

3. High School Graduates with relevant experience may also be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. 4.

A High School Diploma with five (5) years of full-time experience working with youth in group settings or demonstrating the necessary attributes and experience to work effectively with youth diagnosed with serious mental health conditions.

5. An Associate's Degree with one (1) year of experience working with youth in group settings, or as previously mentioned. 6. A Bachelor's Degree with no prior experience required. 7. A fundamental understanding of mental health services and the role of residential support specialists within these services. 8. A valid New Jersey Driver's License.
