Job Title: Occupational Therapist - Home Health

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in North Bergen, New Jersey.

Job Description:

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality care to our clients in their homes. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with our clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans that promote independence, safety, and well-being.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patients' functional status and develop individualized intervention plans to achieve favorable outcomes.
  • Perform thorough assessments of patients' cognitive, psychological, and motor abilities.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that address patients' needs and goals.
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on rehabilitative care and activities necessary to promote independence and safety.
  • Continually assess and revise care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
Requirements:
  • A current NJ Occupational Therapist license.
  • Prior home care experience preferred, but not required.
  • A minimum of one year of recent work experience as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Graduation from an occupational therapy program accredited jointly by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the AMA and the AOTA.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and problem-solving skills.
  • Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
