Summer Speech-Language Pathologist Job Opportunity

We are seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team for a summer contract in the greater Portland area. The successful candidate will work with students in elementary, middle, and high schools, providing individual and group therapy sessions, documenting treatment sessions, and collaborating with instructional staff.

Job Details
  • 3-week contract with 3 work days for planning prior to the start of the summer session
  • 25 hours per week, with varying schedules for elementary, middle, and high schools
  • ESY programs offered at 1 elementary, 1 middle, and 1 high school
Responsibilities
  • Provide individual and/or group therapy sessions for students with identified speech and language disorders, in accordance with their IEP recommendations
  • Document treatment sessions for students with IEPs
  • Provide reports of student progress to parents
  • Organize student caseload and develop a schedule for each assigned school
Requirements
  • Oregon SLP license
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Up-to-date knowledge of Oregon Special Education procedures and best practices for SLPs in school settings
