About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Services Representative to join our team at Avera Medical Group Worthington.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clinic patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience.
  • Assist patients in accessing clinic services, including scheduling appointments and preparing necessary forms.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and other staff members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Prepare and process prior authorizations, referrals, and other necessary documents.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred.
  • 6 months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Medical terminology and computer experience a plus.
Work Schedule

Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, occasional weekends; 80 hours every 2 weeks.

Compensation

The hourly range for this position is $22.00 per hour, dependent on experience.
