We're seeking a skilled Field Vaccinator to join our team. This role starts at $20.84/hour, plus a $3000 New Hire Bonus. Benefits include:

Position Summary: The Field Vaccinator is responsible for vaccinating broilers and pullets in the field.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Vaccinates broilers and breeders according to schedule and established procedures, determining correct blood collections and labeling schedules.
• Determines the correct vaccine and dosage to be administered to broiler birds and to pullets, considering pullet age.
• Monitors vaccine inventory and ensures adequate supply to meet business needs.
• Develops schedule for Vaccinators for the week and informs growers of vaccination dates and times.
• Monitors vaccination equipment to ensure it is in good working order. Makes necessary repairs or orders parts as needed.
• Communicates with Company Veterinarian on vaccinations and blood work.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• High school or GED required.
• Ability to perform blood drawing procedure in compliance with Animal Welfare guidelines.
• 3-5 years experience required.
• Class D Drivers License.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in dusty environment with exposure to chemicals and temperature extremes.
• Detail and organizational skills required.
• Good communication skills.
