Job Summary

A heavy-duty fleet maintenance specialist is needed to diagnose and repair diesel equipment at US Foods, Inc.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and repair diesel equipment such as tractors, trailers, and lift gates.
  • Perform preventative maintenance within company standards.
  • Document all repair orders, PM lists, and parts accountability.
  • Handle road service calls and perform road rescue/transport equipment as needed.
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, applicants must have a valid Class-A CDL license and 7 years of hands-on experience as a heavy duty commercial diesel mechanic or reefer mechanic. A combination of both experience and certification in diesel mechanics and refrigeration is also acceptable.

The ideal candidate will possess strong troubleshooting skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

This position involves working in a fast-paced environment and may require overtime, flexibility in scheduling, and willingness to adapt to changing organizational needs.

US Foods, Inc. offers a competitive salary range of $22-$38 per hour based on relevant experience and qualifications. Location:

This position is located in St Louis, MO and requires the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
