Watercrest Senior Living is seeking a skilled Facilities Operations Director to oversee the upkeep of our communities.

Job Summary

The Facilities Operations Director will leverage technical building and managerial expertise to ensure the continued health, safety, and cleanliness of our community. This individual will be responsible for housekeeping and all plant operation needs, solving problems and facilitating excellent conditions for residents, families, visitors, and associates.

Responsibilities
  • Display Servant Leadership qualities and confident decision-making skills.
  • Conduct daily walks-through of the community's interior and exterior to maintain appearance for residents, families, visitors, and associates.
  • Inspect the front entrance daily to ensure visitors receive a great first impression:
  1. All glass should be clean.
  2. Flowers watered and healthy.
  3. Door mats should be clean and not faded.
  4. Doors are presentable and in good working condition.
Maintain a home and workplace that is safe and free of bacteria to reduce sickness and increase productivity.Manage Maintenance IQ, ensuring all community equipment, work orders, inspections, and regulatory items are completed and up-to-date to avoid future large and costly repairs.Manage a comprehensive and engaging employee onboarding process to ensure a smooth integration into our company culture and operations.Manage the community housekeeping department under the direction of the Watercrest Housekeeping Handbook.Aware of all occupied and unoccupied apartments to ensure a proactive and expeditious turn process.All state regulations and company policies are followed, and the individual is prepared for surveys and inspections.Prepared to implement all aspects of emergency procedures in the CEMP plan.Responsible for maintaining, adjusting, tracking, and adhering to state-approved CEMP plan.Manage emergency situations, including disasters, fire, and other emergencies.Responsible for emergency and safety management associate training.Responsible for fire safety program and equipment.Review direct report associate time punches for accuracy and complete payroll process.Manage recruitment and selection of staff personnel.Respond in a timely manner to requests from residents, families, guests, and associates.Inspect and identify equipment or machines in need of repair.Plan repair work using building blueprints or equipment manuals as needed.Perform general repairs that do not require specialized technicians, such as repairing drywall, painting, and repairing doors and other community fixtures.Perform routine maintenance on building systems.Order supplies and materials needed for maintenance repairs and housekeeping needs.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
