About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Perinatal Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at LCMC Health. As a key member of our Maternal Fetal Medicine department, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the delivery of high-quality diagnostic services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality diagnostic sonography procedures, including transabdominal and transvaginal scans, to obtain detailed fetal anatomic exams and umbilical artery and middle cerebral artery Doppler studies.
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal performance and adhering to quality control standards.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care, including assistance with invasive procedures and review of physician orders.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient information and diagnostic results.
  • Participate in quality improvement activities and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Sonography from a recognized institution.
  • Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Sonography Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Experience in Fetal Nuchal Translucency (FNT) certification and proficiency in fetal anatomy and circulatory system knowledge.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
