About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at WellNow Urgent Care. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the accuracy of radiological procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for radiological procedures and conduct x-rays following established protocols for patient safety and care.
  • Utilize radiation protection and shielding materials to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Verify the functionality of radiology equipment and report any malfunctions to the department head.
  • Log radiologic procedures and maintain accurate records.
  • Obtain pre-authorization from insurance companies for CT scans.
  • Ensure all radiographs achieve a radiographic interpretation by our teleradiology company.
  • Clarify discrepancies in radiology readings with medical providers.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and greet patients, register them, and perform front desk duties.
  • Perform basic medical assisting and occupational medicine technician duties to ensure efficient patient flow.
  • Answer and triage phone calls effectively.
  • Clean and stock the site with other team members.
Requirements
  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Active ARRT certification and registration.
  • Applicable state licensure (as required by state).
  • Active driver's license.
