- Provide support to other craft workers on project sites, including structural construction, heavy concrete construction, demolition, and framing.
- Maintain clean and safe work areas, including sweeping debris, gathering and discarding trash, scrap iron and wood, and removing snow and ice.
- Identify hazards associated with task assignments and ask questions when clarification is needed.
- Load and unload materials as needed.
- Have minimum tools associated with the trade.
- Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures.
- Report all unsafe activities to the supervisor and/or Safety.
- Perform essential duties and responsibilities efficiently, accurately, and safely with or without reasonable accommodation and without posing a threat of harm to self or others.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and emails.
- Ability to write simple correspondence and emails.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
