Job Summary:

The Colton Joint Unified School District is seeking a qualified Performing Arts Educator to join our team. As a key member of our educational community, the successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in the performing arts.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities
  • Provide individualized instruction and feedback to students to promote academic growth and achievement
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement curriculum that aligns with district standards
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction to meet the needs of all learners
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a positive and supportive learning environment

Requirements:

  • Valid California teaching credential with a specialization in performing arts
  • Proven experience in teaching and mentoring students in the performing arts
  • Strong knowledge of curriculum design and implementation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and adapt to changing circumstances
