Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our meat department team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

About the Job

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized meat department, ensuring that all meat products are stored and displayed safely and attractively. You will also be responsible for cutting, wrapping, and labeling meat products according to established standards, as well as monitoring inventory levels and reporting any discrepancies to management.

You will also provide exceptional customer service by responding to member inquiries, resolving issues, and making recommendations on meat products. Additionally, you will collaborate with other associates to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store image.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Benefits

As a Meat Department Team Member and Quality Control Specialist at Sam's Club, you will receive a competitive hourly wage of $19.00-$26.00 per hour, depending on experience. In addition to your salary, you will also receive benefits such as health insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
