Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Audiology Extern to join our team at UF Health. As an Audiology Extern, you will play a critical role in supporting the audiology clinical program by participating in patient care and assisting audiologists with various tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform newborn hearing screenings and assist audiologists with audiology service interventions for pediatric through geriatric populations.
  • Help maintain the cleanliness and efficiency of the department operations and services.
  • Prepare equipment and supplies as assigned.
  • Assist with clerical activities, including data entry and record-keeping.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and completion of the first three years of the Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) program.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
