Our facility operates around the clock, staffed by a team of highly trained and compassionate veterinarians and veterinary technicians. We specialize in emergency medicine and intensive care, ensuring that we provide the best possible care for pets in need.
Position Overview: As a Per Diem Veterinary Technician in our Emergency department, your responsibilities will include:
- Assessing incoming patients and managing client interactions throughout their visit.
- Collaborating with veterinarians in patient evaluations, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures.
- Collecting and processing laboratory samples, including blood, urine, and fine needle aspirates.
- Utilizing various imaging techniques for patient evaluation.
- Administering, monitoring, and recovering patients from sedation and anesthetic procedures.
- Assisting in minor surgical procedures.
Candidate Profile:
- A positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.

- Exceptional communication and organizational skills, with a focus on providing outstanding client service.
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Veterinary Technician or Assistant in a clinical setting is required. Recent graduates with a degree in Veterinary Technology will also be considered.
- Proficiency in processing basic laboratory specimens and a working knowledge of radiographic techniques are essential.
- A commitment to fostering long-term relationships with colleagues, clients, and the community is necessary.
