Program Development Assistant

The Branches of Marlboro is seeking a skilled Program Development Assistant to join our Activities Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing engaging programs that meet the diverse needs of our residents.

We're looking for someone with excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of aging and disability issues, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement daily programs that promote physical, social, emotional, and spiritual well-being
  • Collaborate with the Programming Director to develop and implement program schedules
  • Support and encourage residents to participate in activities and events
  • Provide guidance and direction to staff members on activity-related matters

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (gerontology, recreation therapy, etc.) or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Possesses training and knowledge in recreational activities
  • Possesses training and knowledge of Alzheimer's and related dementias

Estimated annual salary for this position is $50,000 - $65,000, depending on experience. We also offer comprehensive benefits and opportunities for career advancement.
