Electro-Mechanical Engineer Role

We are seeking a skilled Electro-Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Teradyne. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electro-mechanical systems used in our testing equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble, install, and calibrate electro-mechanical components and systems, including wiring, motors, sensors, and mechanical assemblies.
  • Design and fabricate test fixtures to support the development and testing processes.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure equipment is functioning optimally and meets the highest standards of performance.
  • Perform routine maintenance on electro-mechanical systems to ensure optimal operation.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in electro-mechanical assembly, maintenance, repair, and fixture design, preferably in a manufacturing or testing environment.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical schematics, diagrams, and blueprints.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, including wiring, circuit design, and control systems.
  • Proficiency with CAD software for designing mechanical components and fixtures.
Education

BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
