Position Overview:
An exciting opportunity exists for a skilled MRI CT professional within our outpatient facilities, including Gateway, Parkway, and McCordsville Imaging Centers.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conducts and oversees MRI CT examinations in accordance with established protocols as per physician directives.
  • Follows all organizational and departmental policies, standard operating procedures, quality assurance measures, and safety protocols.
  • Collaborates with Radiologists, Radiology Assistants, and other healthcare providers.
  • Effectively screens, positions, instructs, and communicates the procedure to patients, ensuring thorough follow-up assessments.
  • Generates high-quality diagnostic images for accurate interpretation by Radiologists.

Required Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of MRI technology and pre-examination screening protocols within three months of employment.
  • Proficient in computer systems and capable of navigating PACS, CR/DR, and HIS/RIS systems.
  • Ability to work independently without direct supervision for technical details and exercise sound judgment.
  • Competent in administering IV/oral contrast as directed by the Radiologist when necessary.

Certification and Licensure:
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); CPR Certification; Radiologic Technologist (RT); MRI (ARRT).

Additional Education and Experience:
Mandatory annual continuing education and unit-specific competencies are required.

Employment Type: PRN
