As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing and monitoring diagnostic radiology procedures, adhering to established policies and procedures, and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform and monitor diagnostic radiology procedures, including imaging and positioning patients
  • Adhere to established policies and procedures, including quality assessment and safety protocols
  • Provide exceptional patient care, including interacting with patients of all ages and abilities
  • Assist radiologists and other healthcare providers as needed
  • Maintain a safe working environment and assist in cost containment and quality improvement initiatives
  • Screen, position, and instruct patients on procedures, including follow-up assessments
  • Produce high-quality diagnostic images for interpretation by radiologists and other healthcare providers
  • Properly charge exams and maintain accurate records
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including student supervision and evaluation
Requirements
  • Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) certification
  • Current valid license as a Diagnostic X-Ray Machine Operator in the State of Indiana
  • CPR certification
  • Indiana State driver's license
  • Ability to interact with patients of all ages and abilities
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in diagnostic radiology or a related field
  • Knowledge of cross-section anatomy and ability to critique images
  • Ability to administer IV/oral contrast as directed by radiologists
