Position Overview:
The Corporate Accountant is responsible for managing financial records by preparing entries for assets, liabilities, and capital accounts through meticulous compilation and analysis of account data. This role involves summarizing the current financial position by gathering information and generating balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and various financial reports.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Uphold ethics, integrity, and professionalism in all interactions.
  • Execute month-end closing processes, including journal entries, working papers, and general ledger maintenance. Ensure accurate monthly journal entries are recorded for accruals and adjustments.
  • Prepare monthly working papers in Excel to reconcile accounts and facilitate financial statement preparation.
  • Engage in special projects or ad-hoc financial analyses to evaluate trends across the organization, branches, and departments. This may include assisting with regulatory reporting and annual financial statements.
  • Conduct ad-hoc reporting and financial analysis to support management's decision-making, gathering and summarizing both financial and non-financial data from diverse sources.
  • Perform reconciliations for purchase orders to ensure proper account recording and timely processing.
  • Establish specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, document, and achieve work objectives in alignment with weekly and monthly deadlines.
  • Assist in research related to AFE/Cap Ex projects.
  • Complete all mandatory safety and equipment training on a monthly basis.
  • Fulfill any additional duties or responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
