Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team at St. Vincent Hospital, part of the Allegheny Health Network. As a Labor and Delivery Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to a positive patient experience.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and plan individualized care for patients in labor and delivery, including antepartum patients, laboring patients, and postpartum patients.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to evaluate clinical care and health services.
  • Participate in department-specific quality initiatives, including evidence-based practice and population-specific initiatives.
  • Supervise and delegate tasks to LPNs and support staff as needed.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families on labor and delivery processes and postpartum care.
  • Participate in systematic peer review and obtain feedback on practice.
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in Pennsylvania.
  • CPR certification.
  • Preferred: Certification in area of specialty.
