Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Banquet Server to join our team at the Wylie Inn & Conference Center at Endicott College. As a Banquet Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests and ensuring that every event is a success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up banquet rooms according to specifications, including linens, service ware, and glassware.
  • Attend roll call meetings to learn function details and guest expectations.
  • Greet guests and respond to requests in a friendly and courteous manner.
  • Serve food and beverages in the order and to the expectation of the Banquet Captain.
  • Promptly bus dishes and replenish beverages as needed.
  • Practice teamwork and cleanliness policies.
  • Reset banquet rooms according to specifications after events.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
  • Ability to safely lift and maneuver trays of food and beverages weighing up to 20-25 pounds.
  • Ability to maintain a fun and upbeat attitude during high business volumes.
