We are seeking a seasoned Labor and Employment Attorney with 5+ years of experience in California labor and employment law. As part of our team, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of complex labor and employment law matters, including class actions and PAGA cases.
Responsibilities:- Litigation Management: Independently manage a caseload of labor and employment law matters, including class action and PAGA cases.
- Discovery & Motion Practice: Draft and respond to written discovery, meet and confer letters, and law and motion briefs.
- Depositions & Trial Preparation: Take and defend depositions; prepare and represent clients in trial and arbitration proceedings.
- Legal Strategy & Client Counsel: Develop case strategies, provide legal counsel to clients, and ensure effective legal representation in all stages of litigation.
- Legal Research & Analysis: Conduct detailed legal research on complex labor and employment issues and provide insightful analysis.
In this role, you will also have the opportunity to develop your expertise in handling complex employment-related litigation and contribute to the growth and success of our firm.
Requirements:- Experience: 5+ years of experience in California labor and employment law, with a focus on class actions and PAGA litigation.
- Skills: Strong litigation, legal research, and writing skills; experience with all stages of litigation, from discovery through trial.
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of California employment laws, including wage and hour laws, employee classification, discrimination, and retaliation claims.
- Client-Centered Approach: Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and provide practical, results-driven legal advice.
The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including unlimited PTO, Equinox gym membership, 401(k) plan with employer match, and comprehensive health insurance benefits.
