Position Summary:
As a Patient Service Representative in our Urgent Care department, you will play a vital role in ensuring a seamless experience for our patients. This position offers a balanced work-life environment with a consistent day shift schedule and recognized holidays off.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries.
- Schedule appointments and direct callers to the appropriate staff for assistance.
- Utilize an electronic medical records system effectively.
- Collect patient payments and apply necessary adjustments to accounts.
- Balance daily encounter forms and cash drawers.
- Perform additional administrative tasks as required by the practice specialty.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- A minimum of 1 year of customer service experience is required.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
Travel Requirements:
Travel is rarely required for this position.
