Key Responsibilities:
The Registered Nurse in Hospice (RN) will take full responsibility for implementing the Plan of Care for each hospice patient. This role involves:
  • Continuously assessing and enhancing personal and professional performance to improve productivity and care quality.
  • Adhering to and supporting the policies, procedures, goals, and objectives of the hospice to ensure exceptional patient care.
  • Striving for independence and exercising sound critical decision-making in the delivery of patient care while maintaining cost-effectiveness without compromising quality.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized Plans of Care that address the physical, psychosocial, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients.
